An unseated bead can leave air escaping instead of inflating the tire. The Ranger Vortex RB12L sends a concentrated burst of compressed air into the bead gap to help establish the seal. Designed for full-size and heavy-duty pickup tire service, this 12L portable tire bead seater gives you the largest tank in the Vortex lineup for those applications.

The RB12L holds 3.17 gallons, adding 2L of tank capacity over the RB10L for 1.1 lbs. of additional weight. Its aluminum-alloy tank keeps the complete bead seater at 10.6 lbs., so you can carry the larger model to the wheel. Choose the RB12L for full-size and heavy-duty pickups, or compare the RB10L if your service work centers on SUVs and light pickups.

A covered push-button switch activates rapid air release through a 1.75-inch (44 mm) exhaust valve. The tapered nozzle directs air toward the tire bead, and the nozzle brace provides a contact point against the wheel rim for positioning. Front and rear handles give the operator a two-handed grip during discharge. These features pair the larger tank with the same release and handling layout used across the Vortex range.

The RB12L puts its pressure gauge right on the tank, giving you a clear reference as you fill through the quick-connect coupler and inlet valve. An integrated pressure relief valve helps protect against excess tank pressure. Once the bead is seated, complete inflation with a separate tire inflation hose as needed, following the tire manufacturer’s pressure recommendation.
