A tire that will not take air can hold up the whole job. The Ranger Vortex RB6L directs a concentrated burst of compressed air between a tubeless tire bead and wheel to help establish the seal needed for inflation. Designed for passenger car, motorcycle and ATV tire service, this 6L portable tire bead seater gives you the smallest Vortex model for the work at hand.

The RB6L pairs a push-button release with a 1.75-inch (44 mm) high-flow exhaust valve. Pressing the switch releases the stored air through a tapered nozzle aimed at the bead gap. The exhaust valve matches the size specified for the larger RB10L and RB12L models, and a protective cover sits over the release switch.

At 8.4 lbs. and 21 inches long, the RB6L is the lightest and shortest bead seater in the Vortex lineup. Its aluminum-alloy tank holds 1.6 gallons while keeping the overall size manageable around the service bay. Front and rear handles provide a two-handed grip, and the nozzle brace rests against the wheel rim to help position the tapered outlet.

Connect the RB6L to your compressed-air supply through its quick-connect coupler and inlet valve, then monitor the onboard gauge as the tank fills. The air system also includes an integrated pressure relief valve. The RB6L handles bead seating; a separate tire inflation hose completes inflation as needed to the tire manufacturer’s recommended pressure. Follow the Vortex user guide for setup and use.
